Trident Driver Training is passionate about providing professional driver training. We are committed to improving the standards of driving on our increasingly busy roads.

Our highly qualified driving instructors are experienced professionals who have all run their own successful independent Learner Driving Schools. They all hold the following qualifications:
  • Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor.
  • Driving Standards Agency Approved Fleet Trainer.
  • Diamond Advanced and/or Institute of Advanced Motoring certificate.
  • NVQ Level 3 Driving Instruction.
  • Coaching/Presentation Skills.
  • A1 Assessor
Additional qualifications include:
  • Driving Standards agency ORDIT (Instructor Trainers)
  • PSV/D1
  • HGV/LGV C&E
  • Trailer Towing B&E, D&E
  • Motorcycle
  • Approved IAM Observer
  • Membership of DIA and/or IAM
Rob Cluett ADI/Fleet (formerly Access Driving)
Rob is a highly experienced and skilled DSA registered ADI/FLEET trainer. As a Class 1 HGV licence holder, his back ground is in the motor industry, and he has worked for several of the best known Contract hire companies. Having been a fleet manager with William Hill Bookmakers & Mirror group newspapers he is well versed in the needs & responsibilities of fleet management. He is also an A1 Assessor.
 
Pennie Hughes ADI/Fleet/ORDIT (formerly Learn2drive)
With a background in retail management working for major chains, Pennie has been involved in the training sector for 15 years and has run her own successful driving school for 9 years. A DSA Approved ADI/ORDIT/FLEET trainer, she is also an A1 NVQ Assessor and Observer for the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
 
Martyn Morris ADI/Fleet/ORDIT (formerly ElPasso)
Martyn has been a qualified ADI for 9 years, having his own succesful learner school for 6 of those years. With his background of car sales and time in the motor finance industry his knowledge of the motor markets is extensive. Having purchased his own minibus 18 months ago Martyn also has had experience of teaching both catergory D and D1 course for such organisations as Schools, clubs and Outdoor centres. He is also an A1 Assessor and DSA registered ORDIT/FLEET trainer.

Nigel Hawker
ADI/Fleet (formerly LDC)
Having been a licensee/publican for 10 years in various locations across the South including Exeter, Nigel qualified as an ADI 4 years ago. Having built a successful client base in that time, he has now qualified as a DSA registered FLEET trainer and A1 Assessor.

Dale Sargisson
ADI/Fleet
(formerly Kingsleys)
Dale spent 16 years in the R.A.F. in Air Traffic Control, then 10 years in warehouse management for some well known companies before becoming an ADI 5 years ago. He has recently become a DSA registered FLEET trainer and A1 assessor.
